Will retrieve Kalapani from India by talks: Nepal PM KP Oli | India News

NEW DELHI: Even as he reached out to India saying he wished to be an actual good friend, Nepal PM Okay P Oli on Sunday stated Nepal will “retrieve” Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh from India by diplomatic dialogue.
Speaking within the National Assembly, Oli additionally confirmed his overseas minister Pradeep Gyawali‘s go to to India on January 14 and stated the talks can even concentrate on the border difficulty that broken bilateral ties final yr.
“We will hold diplomatic talks with India and our foreign minister is also going to India,” he said.
“Today, we are facing difficulties to get back our land because Nepali rulers never made efforts to reclaim Nepali territories after Indian military forces started to station there following the India-China war in 1962. Oli, however, underscored that ties between the two countries had improved dramatically in the past few months.

Oli dissolved the House of Representatives on December 20 and advisable snap polls be held on April 30 and May 10. But his choice to dissolve the House and maintain recent polls has been challenged within the Supreme Court and the listening to is happening.
Oli’s choice to dissolve the House has sharply divided opinion in Nepal and his personal celebration, Nepal Communist Party, is on the verge of cut up. A case is pending with the Elections Commission.
