Here is what Ayurveda has to say.
Drinking water earlier than a meal
Many of us choose having a glass of water earlier than our meals in order that we devour much less energy after we sit down for the meal. But as per Ayurveda, ingesting water earlier than having your meals can result in weak spot and emaciation.
Drinking water after a meal
Most of us end our meals with a glass of water. It makes us really feel satiated and provides the sensation of ending a meal. But doing so can result in weight problems.
Having water in between meals
As per Ayurveda, it is best to have water sip by sip throughout meals. This helps to interrupt down the meals and aids digestion.
It is really helpful to at all times drink heat water with meals for higher metabolism and digestion. You may also add dry ginger powder, vetiver roots, acacia catechu or fennel seeds to the water you devour in between meals.
