Farmers defer Jan 6 tractor march by a day over poor climate forecast | India News

NEW DELHI: Protesting farmer unions Tuesday deferred their proposed tractor march from January 6 to January 7 as a result of a foul climate forecast, at the same time as they asserted they may intensify their stir within the coming days.
Addressing a press convention at Singhu Border right here, union leaders mentioned hundreds of farmers will take out the tractor march from all protest websites to the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) on January 7.
Swaraj Abhiyan chief Yogendra Yadav mentioned the choice to defer the march was taken over forecast of unhealthy climate situation on Wednesday.
The metropolis has been receiving rains sporadically over the previous three days.
The unions mentioned the agitation towards the three agriculture legal guidelines will likely be intensified within the coming days.
Talking about their different proposed tractor march to Delhi on January 26, farmer chief Joginder Nain mentioned, “We will send 10 tractor trollies from every village in Haryana. We request people to come – at least one from a house. and a total of 11 women from a village.”
