In August, 12 activists from Hong Kong, aged 16-33, have been intercepted by Chinese authorities at sea as they tried to flee to Taiwan.
It was a uncommon and daring try at escaping a metropolis that has been in political turmoil.
They’re at present being held with out cost in mainland China.
Now, their households are in search of solutions and are urging their launch.
The spouse of one of many activists spoke to the BBC, requesting anonymity for worry of repercussion.
