Faceless schemes: Govt points over 1 lakh tax orders | India News

I hope people give their communication ID so that we do not have to resort to other means of communication, to visits,” CBDT chairman P C Mody instructed TOI.
The authorities has shifted to a faceless evaluation and enchantment mechanism to make sure that there is no such thing as a face-to-face interplay with tax officers to keep away from complaints of harassment. While the evaluation system is stabilising, the enchantment models have been earlier requested to concentrate on smaller circumstances, as a result of the numbers are bigger. Mody stated now there is no such thing as a restriction.

Mody urged taxpayers to handle particular queries raised by tax authorities and chorus from using unparliamentary language, one thing which was observed in a number of responses. He stated the Information Technology Act offers for harsh punishment to be used of abusive language.
