Electric eels work collectively to zap prey

Douglas Bastos, from the National Centre for Amazonian analysis in Manaus, Brazil, filmed the behaviour – capturing the second of the collective electrical strike. Small fish, known as tetras, are the goal of the assault; they fly into the air and land shocked and immobile on the water.
