However, did you know that he continued to shoot for a scene despite being hit by a pan and bleeding during ‘Manmarziyaan’? Yes, you read it right! Recently, a fan on twitter asked the actor if he actually got hit by a saucepan and continued to shoot without stopping.
Responding to the same, Vicky wrote on the micro-blogging site, ‘I didn’t realise it while doing the scene, but glad that Anurag Kashyap (the film’s director) didn’t say cut.’

Not only was the fan all praise for the Bollywood actor but also went on to compare Vicky to Hollywood star Leonardo Dicaprio. According to reports, Leonardo too continued to shoot despite being injured on the sets of Quentin Tarantino’s 2012 film ‘Django Unchained’.
I didn’t realise it while doing the scene, but glad that @anuragkashyap72 didn’t say “cut”. 🙂 https://t.co/JRMYBf6gYl

He wrote, ‘Did Vicky Kaushal cut his cheek with the saucepan while shooting this scene because it does bounce off and hit exactly where he’s bleeding? If yes, then this is some Leonardo-Dicaprio-cutting-his-hand-in-Django-Unchained-and-not-breaking-character-levels-of-acting.’
Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyan’ also starred Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles.
On the work front, Vicky will next be seen in Udham Singh biopic. He will also be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama, ‘Takht’.
