‘CBI probe wanted’: Supreme Court rejects pleas of Anil Deshmukh, Maharashtra govt towards Bombay HC order | India News

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to cancel the CBI probe ordered by the Bombay excessive courtroom into expenses levelled by ex-Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh towards former Maharashtra dwelling minister Anil Deshmukh.
The apex courtroom dismissed the pleas filed by Maharashtra authorities and Anil Deshmukh towards the excessive courtroom order.

“We don’t want to interfere with the orders of high court directing preliminary inquiry by CBI,” the bench stated.
